Our goal is to educate the ENTIRE Washington startup community about the corporate and government innovation efforts around which they can start to build their companies or find potential clients/ backing for their startups. There is a lack of knowledge in the Seattle Startup Ecosystem, particularly among veterans, about corporate venture organizations, such as Amazon Alexa Fund or Comcast Ventures, their history, why they exist, and the programs offered to support entrepreneurs.
The Military Innovation Track will be hosted by Bunker Labs Seattle within the
UW CoMotion system at
CoMotion Labs @ Startup Hall. The Seattle Techstars incubator and Amazon Alexa Incubator are also located in Startup Hall.
The panel seeks to educate the Washington startup community about the existence, history, and opportunities of corporate venture funds such as Amazon Alexa Fund, Comcast Ventures, Microsoft Ventures, and others so that they ultimately can start companies around defined market demands.
