Entrepreneurs come in a number of forms but they all have one essential quality in common: having this crazy belief that their idea can actually work. Optimism is what wakes them up in the middle of the night, shoots them out of bed in the morning and allows them to leave with a smile after being told “No”.
Tami Michaels has mastered the art of optimism and lives by the slogan “Take the high road until your nose bleeds”. She arrived in Seattle with $2k to her name and moved on to build an empire with national recognition. What she now finds as a blessing, is that her triumphant story comes along with horrific struggles. Coming from a broken home in childhood, later having a divorce compared to War of the Roses, having her house burn down and surviving the 9/11 attacks at ground zero have all contributed to her positive approach to work and life.
Join us to hear Tami’s humorous and brilliant perspective on finding opportunities in doors closing.
