George Aliphtiras is an active angel investor serving as a Director of E-Fund, leading the life sciences portfolio investment strategy, co-founder of Cascadia Venture Forum, as well as a member of other local angel groups including VANTEC and Keiretsu Forum. He serves as an EIR at Entrepreneurship UBC, leading the medtech portfolio, advising several early stage medtech ventures. He also serves as CEO of Sonic Incytes, a UBC medtech startup, which is commercializing quantitative ultrasound for point-of-care applications.
