Ever wanted to get into building an Internet/mobile startup thingie? In this workshop, we'll look at a common software architecture for building one of those hot new mobile startups, work through how to build the front-end (and the pros/cons of various choices in doing so), the back-end (and the pros/cons of the various choices in doing so), and build at least the outline of what one would look like. VR Development with Unity Workshop
Virtual Reality is here
Virtual reality, the next tech frontier, is upon us. Microsoft’s HoloLens, the HTC Vive, and Oculus are the first generation. Are you ready to build the future?

Join Chronos Global Academy for a hands-on workshop offered in partnership with Code Fellows, where you can learn the basics of creating your own VR applications, using the powerful Unity 5 game engine. CGA will offer insightful training in the fundamentals and answer your questions about the current state of the industry.

Code your own reality
In this workshop, you will learn how Unity 5 and Game Design go hand in hand, as we explore the work and world of game designers.

Even if you have limited coding experience, you’ll get a solid introduction to Unity UI. Get a glimpse of how to leverage the powerful tools inside Unity. We will guide you through setting up SteamVR and the HTC Vive, and show you how to make assets for a game, and get a prototype built.

You’ll get a taste of the different pathways into VR development, and see how VR development skills can benefit you and your startup.
