Casey Marks founded and runs CarveAcre LLC, which provides consulting
services in machine learning, statistics, data architecture, and
software engineering. He has previously worked as a scientist and/or
engineer at four startups and as a freelance software engineer. His work
has spanned many fields including healthcare, genomics, psychometrics,
finance, and cybersecurity.

This fall he will be teaching "Introduction to Machine Learning" for
University of Washington's Certificate in Machine Learning, and he has
also taught calculus and computer programming at the high school level.

Casey earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in
Applied Mathematics at Brown University. For his dissertation he
researched the connection between online learning algorithms and game
theoretic equilibria.
