Emily Carrion is a 5-time start-up veteran and digital marketing leader. She believes in the power of mentorship and is deeply passionate about changing the ratio of women in tech. She is the VP of Marketing at SmartAssist, where they use AI and machine learning to improve the future by learning from the past for customer service teams.

She is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, has an MBA from Seattle University, and received a BA in Politics and Spanish from Whitman College. For fun, she serves on the Board of Director’s for Seattle U’s Entrepreneurship Center, mentors budding entrepreneurs, travels with her husband to a new country every year, and plays soccer.
