Jonathan Amato

Seattle Food Truck
Owner
Seattle, WA
Raised in Virginia, Jonathan Amato and his business partner created Crisp Creperie mobile food truck in 2011. Within 2 months they were photographed for the cover of Seattle Met Magazine and gained the title of “Best New Food Truck”. Over the next few years they received multiple national accolades including Best Food Truck by Seattle Magazine 3 years in a row, were featured in Forbes Magazine, and filmed an episode with Food Network for their show “Eat Street”.
In 2013, Jonathan and his partner sold Crisp Creperie at the height of popularity and began identifying a market opportunity from an existing pain point; there was no legal, nor financially viable way for multiple food trucks to operate in unison in Seattle. He then quickly focused his full attention on creating Curbside Provisions, a full service event and production agency specializing in the mobile street food scene in the greater Seattle area.
That year, Curbside Provisions launched Seattle’s first daily mobile food truck market in SLU. Today, Curbside Provisions has helmed over 30 daily market projects across the Seattle and Eastside area, revamping derelict city spaces and creating vibrant new places for community and commercial gatherings. Curbside uses markets as a way to give back to Seattle residents and tourists by stimulating economic growth and providing vibrant meeting places to unexpected public venues. Their formula: imaginative promotion, close involvement with the arts, and above all, nurturing of small businesses.
Jonathan Amato is also the owner of the wildly popular http://www.SeattleFoodTruck.com. Seattle’s number one source for finding and booking over 250 of Seattle’s best food trucks.
