Laura is an award winning underwater filmmaker who has been diving beneath the chilly Northwest waters, documenting the undersea world with her cameras for almost 3 decades. It is Laura's mission to connect people to our underwater world via film and multi-media with compelling stories that captivate and educate viewers to take action for our ocean planet. Laura also has a special interest in the use of VR and Spherical Video in the healthcare setting, offering a virtual escape and distraction from a hospital bed or residential care situation, which has been proven to reduce the need for pain medications and anti-depressants.
