Michelle Liu

Michelle Liu is a marketing executive and beauty industry veteran. Today she is the head of global brand strategy for LVMH-owned Ole Henriksen skincare, with an emphasis on creative, branding, and product.

Her love of all things beauty and passion for creativity led her from her first job on Wall Street (mergers & acquisitions) to leading The Estee Lauder Companies’ launch of Osiao skincare in Asia. Having worked on industry hallmarks such as Olay, MAC, Shiseido, Cle de Peau, and La Mer—spanning the range from mass to ultra-luxury—Michelle now specializes in branding and the development of new and nascent brands. In 2015, she became the head of Creative and Brand Development at Kendo, LVMH’s brand incubator for beauty, driving creative at the forefront of digital for Kendo’s portfolio of digitally-focused brands (Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Kat Von D Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Ole Henriksen). After re-launching Ole Henriksen, she was named head of global brand strategy for the brand.

Michelle has a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
