Trent is a Senior Data Scientist at Zymergen, where he helps real scientists make better decisions using software. He's also an Instructor for Metis, leading the Introduction to Data Science course. He has prior experience in insurance, marketing analytics, and online retail. He's also authored two books on using python for data science.Professionally, Trent works with companies to improve their operations through direct application of data science and engineering, or by improving their data and analytical capabilities.
